We have multiple clinicians contracted with each insurance payer; however, not all clinicians are in-network with every listed payer. We will confirm whether your preferred clinician accepts your insurance during scheduling. We are not in network with Medicaid (including the Passes), Medicare, Cigna, Tricare, Aetna, or Humana. Our office is also unable to bill psychological testing appointments to Optum.* Our office does not bill Medicaid. If you have Medicaid coverage, we recommend seeing a Medicaid-enrolled provider so you can use your benefits. Cash pay rates (if uninsured) are $275 for intake and $250 per hour for therapy/testing.
Our contracted third party billing company will provide you with an estimate of the costs of co-pay/co-insurance before your first appointment. Please be aware that insurance companies only provide us with a quote and will not guarantee payment. Insurance coverage is a contract between the patient and the insurance company and they can only determine coverage when a claim is received. There may be details in your policies that they do not check when providing estimates to our billing company. While determining your own coverage and costs is not always easy, you are encouraged to verify your own benefits, and have an idea of cost, which is ultimately your responsibility, as you opted into your insurance plan. Some services may not be covered by insurance, including family therapy, and some types of assessment (e.g., stand-alone intelligence, career, and pre-employment). Any amounts for services not covered by insurance are your sole financial responsibility and will be billed to your credit or debit card on file. You are responsible for payment of all co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance at the time of service.
Our billing department will process your payment for services on the date of service. We will charge your debit or card on file for financial responsibilities in connection with your care and treatment or missed appointment/early cancellation fees.
Clients without insurance, without coverage for mental health services, with services not medically necessary, with out-of-network insurance, or clients not using in-network insurance, are entitled to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) of possible charges for services.
We do not submit claims on an out-of-network basis for our clients. Contact 501-764-3002 or e-mail hello@centralartestingtherapy.com and request a "superbill" to personally submit to your insurer. Clients wishing to use out-of-network insurance coverage must pay their therapist’s self-pay rate at the time of service.
If you need to cancel your intake, therapy, or review appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $99 cancellation fee. For all testing appointments, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required. Cancellations for testing appointments made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a $99 late cancellation fee per booked hour.
